When purchasing our property earlier this year, we were advised that due to the age of the house & the fact it had a septic tank, we should have a full drainage survey carried out. Thankfully, we did & we’re so glad we found these issues before completing the purchase. DrainMaintain came out quickly, provided a free quote, & were incredibly friendly, reliable, & knowledgeable from the start. Everything was explained clearly & all pricing was provided before any work began which, gave us complete peace of mind throughout the process. We’re so pleased we chose to go with them. Not only did they identify drainage misconnections, but they also found tree root ingress causing issues within the system. Following completion, the team sorted everything efficiently & also gave us excellent advice on how to help prevent similar problems in the future. We contacted this company as they were local (Copford nr Colchester) and they arrived quickly to inspect the drains. After explaining the problem they give a very responsible quote and stated work the next day. The work was carried out quickly and effectively. They even came back the following day to check everything was okay. You find when searching for a Drain company on Google, that many claim to be in Colchester, instead have a local number. This is actually a local company, who knows the area and you actually speak to the person who is attending to the work. The pricing was fair, infact lower than we have paid in the past. Dynorod came last year, told me I had a blockage from ingrowing roots. They wanted £5,000 to put in a new soil pipe etc. I saw the camera footage but could not justify the costs. This year I decided to ask for a second opinion, Drainmaintain came down at 9am, used their camera and could not see any roots, unblocked my pipe and saved me £4700. Attended the next day (due to me choosing to wait till it was a week day instead) arrived on time, very quick with sorting it. Clearly communicated pricing as he went along. I got through to Matt directly on the phone on a Saturday morning and he was over within 45mins having also been up front about costs (which many others refuse to provide). Following a CCTV drain survey, a small hole was identified in one of our pipes. Matt and his team carried out drain patching instead of digging everything up, which saved a lot of disruption. We had a callout over Easter holiday weekend to deal with a flooding gulley. Rates was very competitive despite the holiday (50£ less than another quote we received for a Saturday callout) and we were sorted within a couple of hours. Our puppy was also a fan. ~ Veronica L
